Meet Dr. V
Dr. Erica Vislobokova was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She attended college at The Ohio State University and chose to create her own major – Small Practice Management with an Emphasis in Patient Health and Lifestyle.
In order to have a strong foundation in areas that would best support her patients and practice, Dr. Vislobokova focused her studies on Business Methods, Psychology, and Allied Medicine. She then continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL.
She has added to her education by taking courses in the Chiropractic Certified Extremity Physician Program, which allowed her to have more sophisticated training in treating the hand, foot, ankle, shoulder, knee, and hip.
Additionally, Dr. Vislobokova pursued coursework in Functional Medicine so that she can better aid her patients in their nutritional needs.
In 2016, she became board certified in Acupuncture after completing a course at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
In 2017, Dr. Vislobokova experienced whiplash firsthand. It was important to her that she offer her patients more comprehensive whiplash care after a car accident.
She studied under Dr. Arthur Croft, who co-authored the first textbook on whiplash treatment and set the most commonly used standards for chiropractic care after a motor vehicle accident. She is a graduate of the Whiplash Injury Biomechanics and Traumatology program at the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.
In her free time, Dr. V enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and dog; going to the beach, paddle boarding, mountain biking & playing tennis.
